Couriers unlock at EGO Tier 3 and automate item movement between depots, processors, and shops. They are the single highest-impact automation unlock in Go-Go Town!. A mayor without couriers carries every plank and loaf by hand; a mayor with routed couriers focuses on expansions and rank stars. Unlock and first depot

Purchase Tier 3 courier pack in EGO tree. Place first depot central to commercial district and existing resource zones.

Open depot UI, create route: source (zone output crate or processor) → destination (shop backroom or second depot).

Hub-and-spoke design

Central hub depot with spokes to wood zone, farm zone, mine, and export dock beats point-to-point spaghetti routes.

Use intermediate depots as buffers when distance exceeds one courier round trip time.

Scaling routes

Higher tiers add faster couriers or parallel routes. Duplicate route only when depot queue icon shows backlog.
