Controls Hub

Go-Go Town! is playable with keyboard and mouse on PC, standard controllers, and Steam Deck via Steam Input. Core actions — interact (F on PC), mayor phone (TAB), build mode, sprint, and camera — stay consistent across platforms with remappable bindings on PC. This hub links platform-specific pages with full binding tables and Steam Deck tips for the 1.0 release.

Universal actions

Interact with shops, NPCs, nodes, and trash using the interact binding (F default on PC). Open the mayor phone widget with TAB on PC for quests, blueprints, and stats.

Build mode enters placement for roads, zones, and buildings; cancel returns to mayor character control. Co-op ping and emotes use dedicated buttons — see controller page for face button layout.

Platform pages

Pick your input device below. Switch players using Pro Controller should read the controller page — layout matches Xbox-style mapping in most cases.

  • controls/keyboard — mouse camera, WASD move, F interact
  • controls/controller — gamepad defaults and co-op emotes
  • controls/steam-deck — trackpad, gyro, and session length tips

Rebinding

PC settings menu supports remapping. Steam Deck users can layer Steam Input profiles for trackpad camera and back-button phone access.
