Hotfix 1.0.25917
Two days after hotfix 1.0.25886, Prideful Sloth shipped build 1.0.25917 on July 22, 2026 — the current recommended build for PC, Switch, and Switch 2. This polish pass targets launch-week friction: vehicle Imports now restock after four purchases, the train station blocks props from its entry lanes, terraforming under the rail tunnel is disabled, and co-op mayors no longer take damage as vehicle passengers. Cosmetic wins include a Classy Glasses wardrobe icon and a missing sandbox townie returning to spawn pools.
Imports App vehicle cap
25886 let mayors buy any discovered vehicle from the Imports App — 25917 adds balance: four purchases trigger a restock timeout before the catalogue refills. Plan garage upgrades in batches instead of emptying the import list in one mayor session.
Strawberry and pumpkin single-unit imports from 25886 remain unchanged. Cross-check items/mayor-phone-apps for app drawer layout.
- Queue must-have trucks and horses first — four slots per restock cycle
- Spread import spending across in-game days if you need a full fleet
- Co-op hosts control Imports — agree purchases before bulk orders
Train station and terraforming
The train station footprint grew so props cannot block entry or exit paths — leave plaza clearance when decorating. Terraforming under the train tunnel is disabled to prevent broken terrain and sightline glitches.
Mayors reshaping cliffs should read map/cliff-terraforming — tunnel-adjacent tiles are now protected zones.
Co-op, tourists, and workers
Vehicle passengers no longer take damage from stray hits — safer co-op joyrides and go-kart loops. Local co-op players leaving after opening Town Rankings App no longer trigger errors — guides/town-rankings.
Tourists stop dropping held items when they merely see garbage on the floor; drops now happen only when knocked over (vehicles, evictors, leaf blowers). Cleanup pressure stays real but window-shopping tourists keep their souvenirs — guides/how-to-keep-town-clean.
Worker item-handling bugs patched — automation/resource-zones districts should route goods more reliably after the update.
Cosmetics, Arcade, and stability
Classy Glasses received a dedicated wardrobe icon at the Change-O-Tron — items/character-customization. A missing sandbox townie rejoined spawn pools for livelier plazas.
Arcade dancing soft-lock fixed — mayors stuck in emote loops can move again. Bonita townie hint dialogue now shows the emote-wheel button prompt; Bonita is more eager for high-fives.
GPU crash safety checks and clearer dialogue prompts reduce rare hardware exits — especially on integrated graphics after 25886 Intel fixes.
Launch-week patch timeline
New saves should auto-update through Steam or Nintendo eShop. Match builds in co-op — mixed versions still cause desync on treasure displays and achievements.
