EGO Tech: Tiers 0–3
Tiers 0 through 3 cover your first hours through first automation breakthrough. You unlock worker slots, basic storage, shop upgrades, and the critical Tier 3 courier pack that automates delivery. Mis-spending EGO here delays couriers by entire sessions — the bottleneck every beginner feels. Tier 0: Foundation
Tier 0 packs introduce EGO tree UI, basic storage upgrades, and first quality-of-life tools. Purchase packs that increase worker capacity or reduce manual stocking before decorative options.

Tier 1–2: Workers and processing
Mid-early packs unlock additional shop workers, processor recipes, and road or zoning tools. Assign your first Townie workers before buying duplicate shop cosmetics.
Begin planning resource zone unlock path — some Tier 2 packs prerequisite zone types in Tier 3–4.

Tier 3: Couriers
The courier pack defines mid-game. Place depots, assign routes, and retire most backpack hauling. Pair courier unlock with a central depot built near your commercial core.
