EGO Tech

The EGO tech tree is your mayor research backbone. Spending blue EGO currency on tech packs unlocks couriers (Tier 3), resource zones, expansions tools, maintenance staff, and late-game quality-of-life upgrades. How EGO tiers work

Each tier contains multiple packs with individual EGO costs. Buying enough packs or specific milestone packs advances you to the next tier. Higher tiers unlock stronger automation and biome tools.

Rank challenges (see ego-tech/rank-challenges) often block tier entry until your town hits star thresholds for population, revenue, or cleanliness.
